I am appealing to the Global Community the Caretaker/s (by default) of this beautiful Planet, Mother Earth, our home.
Regardless of our location, Nationality, Political & Religious Beliefs we all have a responsibility for the preservation & welfare of this beautiful planet we live on. We as the stakeholders can determine what the future will hold for the generations to follow.
As we all know Politician's around the world are trying to address our concerns with admissions of pollutant's into the atmosphere which has had a lasting effect on our environment with the thinning of the ozone layer. Unfortunately, this action allow may not be enough to preserve this beautiful planet of ours. What we need right now, is the participation of the Global Community (me & you) around the world spreading the word to family, friends & anyone who will listen.

If we choose not to accept responsibility, then the future of our planet will certainly be a different world to what we know it as today. The signs are already there with global warming, which I dare say has contributed to some of the devastation we have already experienced around the globe. Just recently here in Queensland we had flash flood's which literally tore through townships destroying everything in its path & flooding the Brisbane CBD. In the North Queensland region early this morning we had Category One Cyclone hit the Bowen Township which is approx 140kms north of Townsville. Thankfully, the damage sustained was minimal.
We are currently, waiting the arrival of a second Cyclonic system which is expected to hit the Queensland Coastline Wednesday. This system is reported to be a Category 4 cyclone which is significantly larger than the one we have just experienced. The Queensland community are preparing for another crisis likely to cause further grief for those effected by the recent flash floods. However, finishing on a positive note, our community Australia wide have shown they will lend hand & support those effected regardless of their Nationality or Religious beliefs.
I have no doubts that many of you have experienced the same support in your own communities in similar circumstances. Imagine what we could do as a global community with every person on this planet, participating, in order to, preserve this beautiful world we live in, so the generations to follow have an opportunity to live & enjoy life as we have.
I am a ordinary person, who accepts responsibility as a caretaker & stakeholder of this beautiful planet which I call "Mother Earth" our home. As such, I seek your support as;
a member of the Global Community,
a fellow Caretaker &
a stakeholder of this planet.
Why am I seeking your support? The answer to that question is simple a 12 year girl stood up at a Environmentally Conference & asked "What have we done to ensure her future & the generations to follow". "Is the earth going to remain habitable or will we have to seek refugee somewhere else in this vast universe". Those questions posed to the delegates attending that conference went unanswered because without the support of the Global Community they cannot give any insurances as to what the future may hold.
Those questions posed can only be answered by the Global Community at large and addressed with actions rather than words. In order to, provide those insurances to our children & the generations to follow, that they to will have a long & prosperous future on this Planet, Mother Earth, Their Home.
Join me on this quest to implement effective changes for the sustainability of our environment globally. How we achieve this is by reducing the carbon footprint that we apparently release into the atmosphere. In order to, ensure full participation by all concerned, all activities will be conducted in a controlled manner, meaning we as group select one item or task to be implemented. Each of us will be required to complete that activity. Once everyone has completed that activity we will move on to another item or task.
CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL SUPPLIER BEFORE CARRYING OUT THIS TASK.
The first task to be implemented can be conducted daily, at eight o'clock in the evening your time, switch off all appliances not in use at the power point. The advantages of carrying out this task daily will reduce not only your carbon footprint, but also your electricity bill. Now for those members in warmer climates you can reduce your electricity bill further by switching off the hot system during the evening when not in use.
You may have to switch it off at the main power board confirm this with your supplier. Don't forget to switch it back on first thing in the morning & allow 10 min's for the system to reheat before showing or bathing. Failure to do so, may result in a rude awaking.
Obviously, as the community grows with more supporters coming on board we may have to look at the possibility of downsizing into smaller communities. I will be open to any suggestions or comments you might have & certainly those members with the knowledge & expertise, in communication, restructuring, Administration & Operation of a Community Group, please make yourself known.
